We are a home décor brand that empowers female artisans of Latin America

Our products combine tradition with modern designs

Textiles

Our artisans use traditional techniques to create unique and colorful textiles pieces for table runners, pillow covers and tapestries.

Stone sculptures

Our artisans craft modern sculptures using Huamanga Stones, a unique material only found in the central highlands of Peru.

We are working to bring +400 female artisans out of poverty

Women living in the rural areas are one of the most vulnerable groups, they live in poverty and are completely dependant on their partners' income.

Traditional art becomes a path of economical independence for women, by leveraging long-time inherited handcrafted skills to generate their own income.

UMA works with +400 female artisans from the rural Andes in Peru. UMA proves them with twice the income they receive for their products.

Our THREESTEP MODEL TO revalorize traditional art

We provide artisans with high quality inputs to increase quality of final output

We co-create with artisans design that bridge tradition with modernity

We connect artisans with large markets in the US, so they can sell more at higher prices
